Bad starting Just to let you know, we have had a few bikes with bad starting in the past few weeks and not all Enfields, a few Jap bikes as well. It is the damp and mild weather which is causing the problem. we have found that if they dont warm up fully the next time you come to start them they are over choked, this causes the plug or plugs to foul up. the quick remedy is a new plug. the long term answer is to make sure that you warm the engine up and run it without choke to dry the cylinder/s out.
