Bad Weather Its now April and we should be getting some more nice days, but instead, we are getting some more snow they say. I have just started to demolish the shed at the bottom of the garden. It has been there for over 50 years but the fox's have burrowed under it and the foundations have collapsed. It will now make way for a Chicken run. My Potatoes are in and are well covered up, we should be planting some Jerusalem Artichokes next week if we have time. The Onions and Shallots are in. If or when the good weather comes back we have a few more things to set out.
If anybody is interested my Standard 9 1934 2 door is now forsale, give the garage a call or e mail me for details.
What is everybody else doing, are we all fed up with the long winter? Do you think they seem to be getting longer?

We've been getting on with a ride out, we had a good turnout for the Mill Run with the british twostroke club from Robert & Maureens at Coningbsy. 45 mile run with a stop at the Trader Mill at Sibsey. Stayed fine at least, we just got caught in a shower back in Spalding.
On a sad note, a minutes silence was held in memory Carl Watkin, who also supported the British Twostroke club as strongly as the Royal Enfield club.
Didn't realise you was a bit of a farmer Jim, Think you'll have watch that crafty old fox, he'll be interested in the chickens

Bad weather Hello Jim & all,
I thought we would get snowed off for the mill run on Saturday, but turned out to be
pretty good, got caught in a hail storm on the way home. The run was well attended with agood
mix of bikes. We had a one minute silence in memory of Carl befor we set off.
The halfway stop was at Sibsey Trader Mill well worth a visit, and they do a nice pot of tea too!
Back at Bob &Maureens an excellent spread was ready for our return.
Some of the Enfield lads are going to Carls funeral and his son has asked if some bikes could
follow the coffin to the crematorium weather permitting.Meet at Holdingham petrol Station junction A15 & A17
no later than 9-45am Monday 7th.
Regards Newy
