Ear Plugs
A few weeks ago my wife and myself had a trip up to Middlesborough. We were having some earplugs made . The very nice man,Pete , who is a trained audiologist, checked our ears and then made impressions of them to make perfectly shaped and fitted ear plugs. The ones we have had made come with little filters built in so that you can hear the intercom. When using them it does not cut out all the noise but just the harmfull frequencies that do damage to your ears, and because they are made to measure they fit perfectly. You can hear the engine better with them in than without them. I recommend any one wearing a helmet to wear them just to save their hearing.
