Earthquake
Is their anybody out there who did not feel the earthquake the other night. It felt quite strong to me, the cats went mad and their seemed to be a very loud bang. I went outside to have a look around and saw Blackbirds sat on our fence singing. Does anybody know why they do this, is it some kind of animal warning system. The air smelt funny as well, somebody said it was due to all the dust that had been flung up into the air, he said an earhquake was like banging two blackboard rubbers together, releasing all the muck on the ground. They say that it was caused by all the mud in the North Sea building up and causing pressure on a fault line, i thought you were supposed to have mud at the bottom of the sea. I was talking to an old school teacher today and he said that when he was teaching many moons ago one of his classes was Geology and that a fault line runs straight through Holton le Clay and out into the North Sea and across into Denmark. I dont think the mud problem is going to go away so do you think that this neck of the woods is a good place to stay? Just a thought !!!! :? By the way, do you think that we should be getting some warehouses cleared out so that we can receive all the releif aid we shall be getting for this natural disaster, just like we did in the summer for all the flooding? It might help the insurance companies out with the 10million pounds it has cost them. Jim
