Is anything interesting happening out there ?
Is anything interesting happening out there ? It seems very quiet on the forum and bike scene in general. Has everybody gone to the bike show to see all the nice new Enfields? It has not been very good riding weather just recently and with the big day looming up in just a few weeks, i bet the hobby of motorcycling has taken a back seat with most people. :( It is the shor-*test*-('") day on December 21st and then the days should start to get a bit longer, about 2 mins per day i think. We can then look forward to another glorious summer with plenty of runs and ride outs. :D

Hi All I must be the only loon out in the shed then! Just put a rebuilt engine in the crusader, and I've got to say it's quite cosy with the heater on. We had a good run up to Horncastle sunday morning, quite an interesting little event. Vince, Wally, Mick Cooper & a couple of mates,Rob & I turned up That big day you spoke of is the one 3/4s of the way though December I presume YAWN I'll look forward to the 27th for the Pre 65 Trial at Cadwell Park always a good trial anyone fancy it :?:

Nothing wrong with 21Dec.. It's my wedding anniversary. Got married in Glasgow (wife's a foreigner-- Scottish!!) and the sun rose about 10.30 and set at 2.30. We got married at 4.30, so all was in darkness. Daft time for photographs. The rest of the day was hilarious, especially when we got to Loch Lomond and I told the hotel that I'd had 11 pints of lemonade for the reception so I could drive and that, even if it was now Sunday, they expected me to celebrate my honeymoon in a closed bar, they had ' another think coming'!! A side bar was opened for us 2 and where the other hordes came from I don't know, but we had a superb rest of the night till the early morning.

Congatulations on you forthcoming wedding anniversary Dave, lets hope you and your wife have a nice day. I heard it was snowing in Lincoln last night. hopefully we might have a christmas with the right sort of weather this year.
